The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 notification on June 24, 2024, detailing a total of 17,727 vacancies for Group B and Group C posts across various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

The SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam is a national-level recruitment examination conducted annually to select eligible graduates for various positions, including Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub-Inspector, Inspector, Executive Officer, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Junior Intelligence Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Accountant, Postal Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant, and Tax Assistant.

The online application process for the SSC CGL 2024 exam commenced on June 24 and will remain open until July 24, 2024. The Tier 1 examination is scheduled to take place between September and October 2024, followed by the Tier 2 examination in December 2024.

To be eligible, candidates must be Indian citizens and possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The selection process includes a Tier 1 computer-based test (qualifying) and a Tier 2 computer-based test.
